Cooperation with non-3D

Thursday, June 2, 2022

6:15 a.m. A very good ILC group session yesterday, and it had something of the flavor of a joint production – a TGU/3D Theater Production, if you will. That is, it was “my” idea to center on people’s reactions to bad news, and how they dealt with those reactions, but I pretty strongly felt that in making the suggestion I was doing as you wished. Yes, I know there is no ownership of ideas, but there is such a thing as intent, and I was feeling yours, and agreeing with it, but feeling it as we went along.

We can discuss it, if you wish, or can take one or more of the questions you have queued up, or could say more about memory and its function in life.

Hmm. Well, let’s intend maximum focus, receptivity, clarity, and presence, and see. I had something else somewhat in mind when friend cat woke me up, but I can’t remember it at the moment. Why don’t you choose which rabbit to chase?

A word about cooperation first, then. You were feeling our intent; you were agreeable to pursuing it. Your energies and ours (so to speak – for it is an analogy, remember) were aligned. How different is this from what Jesus described when he said I and the father are one, or even when he said, “Thy will, not mine,” in a case of divergence between the merely-3D and the 3D/non-3D larger being? It was a misunderstanding, and a big one, for people to interpret what they had lived through as a visit by a divine being different in nature from themselves. You understand, we aren’t saying everyone misinterpreted; we are saying those who did, made a mistake.

You’re getting tangled in words, here, or I am as your secretary. Let me try it. Jesus was different in being a 3D person who perfectly aligned himself with his non-3D. He did “the will of his father” always, even if it contradicted his human preferences. It was in the perfect alignment that he differed from others, not in his nature. Yes, he was divine as well as human: His point was, so are we. The people that he transformed by his example – not just the twelve apostles but all the unnamed disciples and those that they in turn transformed by example – did not regard him as the unique Son of God. How could they, when he had been telling them right along to stop thinking of God as some authority in the sky different from them, but, “our father”? He had said to them, you’ll do greater things than I have done. It was only later that people changed things, some of them misunderstanding, some perhaps “correcting” ideas, some probably changing things for their own convenience.

So you had to learn the difference between inspiration and whim; between knowledge and jumped-to conclusions.

And between foreknowledge and Psychic’s Disease.

All those. Aligning your energies with your non-3D component does not bring omniscience, nor any “superpowers.” What it does is magnify your manifestation of what you are.

Two-edged sword, that.

Of course it is. The world cowered before Adolf Hitler when he had attained power, but it was hypnotized by his words, his conviction, his will, long before that. If Jesus is the example of a 3D being aligned with divine power, so is Hitler, but nobody would confuse one with the other.

I suppose Hitler is a form of selling his soul to the devil.

It was a surrender to, an identification with, the forces of fear, and hatred, and power to avenge. Like anybody who sets out to right wrongs by force (for that is how he saw it, of course), he only multiplied the ills he set out to expunge. Can anybody think there would have been an A-Bomb without a Hitler to scare people into inventing it?

So if his power came from his close identification with his non-3D components, “life more abundantly” isn’t all wine and roses.

What did you used to tell your children?

“A tool that can’t hurt you, can’t do you any good either.” In other words, use tools carefully.

The critical factor is choice. Have we ever happened to mention that you are in 3D to choose? That your choices matter, both in shaping you and in their effects on the world?

You may have mentioned it in passing.

Hitler could have chosen to override the dark impulses. After a certain point he was like the sorcerer’s apprentice, unable to guide the forces he had called up, except in the direction they wanted to go, but even then he could have repented and tried to overcome himself. And before that, he could have brought his party to power and then said, “Now we are no longer in danger; we have achieved our goal of restoring our country,” thus working to defuse the fear, and power-down the machine he had constructed. But of course, to do this he would have had to be in control of his ego, and he would have had to have had ego-strength enough to resist succumbing to the tide of hatred he had evoked and ridden to power. He wasn’t man enough to do that.

But in seeing this, don’t forget, too, that Jesus chose. That’s the whole point of the temptations in the wilderness before he began his active ministry. Had he chosen differently, he could have been a magician, or an emperor, instead of the greatest man in the world so far. The telling of the temptations is in story form, but that is merely conveying a non-3D truth by clothing it in 3D story.

Interesting comparison. His miracles themselves were a two-edged sword, weren’t they? They stemmed from what he had become, but while to some they were a promise of what we all could learn to live and express, to others they were a sign that he was unique – different in nature from the rest of them.

It is never possible, perhaps, to prevent people from misinterpreting.

“You do the best you can.”

But you see, if you can remember this, it will clarify much in scripture that otherwise would seem invented. Battles of magicians and Aaron, for instance. The sorcerers the apostles battled, occasionally. Miracles are the outward sign of great connection, but you always have to remember to ask, “Connected to what?” The people who suspected that Jesus was in league with the devil in performing miracles weren’t idiots. They had, perhaps, greater practical understanding along these lines than “moderns” suspect.

Schools always advise students not to be seduced by magical powers and extraordinary manifestations.

Such things are signs that you are getting better aligned; in themselves they are neutral. Start to value them for themselves, though, or assume that they mean you are of greater value, and they will be merely snares.

It occurs to me, what about light and dark in 3D, then? Given that we are both light and dark, and therefore do good and evil, how does this fact align with “life more abundantly” if life more abundantly means, among other things, the power to do evil as well as good?

Challenges ramp up along with abilities. What would have been a challenge at an earlier stage of development becomes child’s play – hence of no interest – as you progress. But every new situation produces more complex challenges. It is in overcoming continuous tests that one becomes a master. There’s nothing wrong with the situation; it’s how 3D functions to help shape the non-3D being that you ultimately help comprise.

When we began, you said, “a word about cooperation.” A little more than a word, here.

Things lead where they lead, which is why no two “secretaries” will bring back identical information: Each 3D mind will have its own associations and values and preferences, and that will partly shape what can be retrieved.

So, today’s theme is what? Choice?

We think “Cooperation with non-3D” would be closer.

Yes, I can see that. Very well, you have our thanks as always.
