A clarification about mind-stuff

When the guys used the expression “mind-stuff” this morning, it never occurred to me – nor apparently to them – that people would think they meant “mind over matter,” or “it’s all in your mind.” For quite a while now, they have been using “mind-stuff” to express the fact that matter, the material world, that looks so tangible, is all made of mind, just as is what we recognize as mind.

An unexpected benefit of the way we are doing things – my putting things out the same day I get them, rather than gathering them into books that are published after a delay of months or years – is that such misunderstandings can be caught quickly. I don’t know where the guys are going, but I’m confident it will not be familiar formulas. It is very likely to be things we never thought of in the same context. They seem to be doing that a lot, lately.

  1. Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking “mind-stuff” was referring to what we think we are experiencing. If it’s referring to “everything is consciousness”, then that makes sense as well.
