Anniversaries

July 2, 2013

10 p.m. Joseph Smallwood – or whatever your right name is – tomorrow makes 150 years since the final day at Gettysburg. Any thoughts?

When the world’s eyes turn to an event because of an anniversary of years, we live somewhat more lighted than otherwise, except in so far as we are in active communication with living minds, such as yours. You will notice that the overall feel of any given anniversary of an event is different – less because those commemorating are different, perhaps, than because the changed perspective shows us as well as you different previously unsuspected lights on things.
