  1. Thank you for these beautiful pics Frank.
What a sight! And The Size of it ! Absolutely a spectacular sight ! I have been visiting the ancient city of Heraklion on Crete once upon a time. I was there in the late 1970s, watching what`s left of Heraklion/-or, the Iraklion in Greek, the exavegations upon the land). The Heraklion city must certainly being VAST of its size, if to find “the rest” of the city beneath the waters outside the Egyptian waters ? The proportions unimagineable. Could it be two different ancient cities with the same name ? But the flood back then (after the vast vulcano-eruption) obviously caused a big change in the geography about the Mediterean area and environment.

Indeed very impressive, and thank you for transfering over to us these wonderful pictures, Frank.
P.S. I have been to Luxor and Karnak, as well as the Giza Plateu back in the 1980s and 1990`s but MUCH to have changed since back then of course.
