Ramona Thiessen comment on “More on affliction as assistance”

[Ramona sent this as an email and agreed that I could post it.]

Hi Frank,

This is an important session. Obviously personal to you, but I believe the subject matter applies to everyone.

Over the years, through various development groups I’ve observed pieces of what is coming through here. Re-membering strands of ourselves to enable an integration (not that we are lacking anything, more that we are gathering, refining and healing, if that makes any sense?). Through this work, through these processes … the collective field is becoming clearer and more coherent. Less fractured by distortion.

For me it connects back to the earlier session of “living your potential, including limitations and conflicts, may serve as a model from which others are created.”   Maybe insert … healing conflicts and lessening limitations in that phrase?  Making and living a template that is easier for others to live through.

I’m sure you are familiar with this Jung quote, for me it seems relevant to this session.

“We are living in what the Greeks called the kairos — the right moment — for a metamorphosis of the gods, of the fundamental principles and symbols. This peculiarity of our time, which is certainly not of our conscious choosing, is the expression of the unconscious human within us who is changing. Coming generations will have to take account of this momentous transformation if humanity is not to destroy itself through the might of its own technology and science … So much is at stake and so much depends on the psychological constitution of the modern human.”   – C.G Jung

Many thanks to both you and Rita,

~Ramona

Frank, do you remember what session she was talking about? Do you have the link available?

I searched for that phrase, but I can’t find it.
    Thanks
